We hope everyone is enjoying a joyful Summer, relaxing holidays and vacations, and we wanted to give you a heads up.
​
Firstly, thank you very much for the many positive and motivating messages, emails, input, ideas and interests in our other projects we have received since the last update. Your feedback has confirmed our thoughts on how we should still go with option 2 and continue aiming for a bigger budget to make Nightmare City the best possible film we can, even if it's a more difficult and laborious way. We are striving to make this a dignified, and wickedly brilliant remake without any creative limitations or restrictions, with the best possible cast, crew and special effects.

We have spent these last few weeks working on our projects, creating and fine-tuning budgets and schedules, planning for different shooting locations, budget variations, and possibilities. We've been busy negotiating and discussing with potential partners, agents, managers, interested investors, and sales guys and we're also in touch with some A-list agents and a few managers and stars who have received our script and will be reading it over the Summer. We're in talks with popular actors from hit series such as GAME OF THRONES, THE WALKING DEAD, and BREAKING BAD, as well as some great, well-known, bankable stars from successful blockbusters and movie franchises. We can't reveal specific names of the actors and actresses this time, which we have approached so far, because of the ongoing negotiations and NDAs, but at least we can give you one small "teaser" with the picture below. We're also currently working on uniting these same 4 icons again...
Currently, most of the people are on vacation and some of our partners are still busy with post-production of their latest projects. Our casting director and our partners should get back to us asap, but already told us that it might take until September, after the holidays, until everyone (especially most of the agents, actors, and managers) is back from vacation and at work again. In the meantime, we're still working, and preparing lots of other things, e.g. preparing paperworks and contracts, location scouting, gathering ideas for cool special effects, costumes and set dressings, etc, so that once we have a needed bankable A-list star on board and a green light from our partners and financiers, we can start the production as promptly as possible.

On a side note: As we mentioned earlier, we're currently developing 2 other cool Horror-movie projects, apart from NIGHTMARE CITY, and it looks very good that we will start filming the first one this Fall/Winter with a cool cast & crew (if we shouldn't do Nightmare City first). As promised, we will do our best that every backer of NIGHTMARE CITY will receive some bonus perks from the other upcoming projects to thank everyone for your continuous patience and support: such as DVDs, free downloads, memorabilia, Special Thanks credits, and the chance to be in our other films as an Extra or actor, too. We will keep you posted on our other projects,t too, and we hope to have more good news soon.
